Welcome!
What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic Medicine is not new. It is a philosophy of the healing
arts dating back prior to Hippocrates and the oath attributed to him.
It has been the standard almost worldwide.
In America, in the late 1800s, practitioners from several medical
disciplines combined to revive and form the first Naturopathic
professional societies.
Naturopathic medicine experienced a decline in the middle of the 20th
century with the rise of technological medicine, pharmaceutical drugs
and the “quick fix” idea that drugs and surgery could eliminate all
diseases.

Over the last three decades, however, a health conscious public has
increasingly sought alternatives to conventional medical
philosophy.
This does not mean Naturopathic Practititioners or Doctors
are behind the times or less highly trained. On the contrary, dedicated
practitioners are highly educated and well versed in the latest
research. In fact, ...

If more intense talk therapy is required, my staff includes my husband,
Verner, who is an award winning and licensed Professional Counselor
(LPC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina. He is
a proud graduate of the excellent Marriage and Family Therapy program at Reformed Theological Seminary.
We have been involved for years in offering relationship or marital
co-therapy to Eastern European - American couples who need to resolve
adjustment issues of differing cultures and to save these marriages.
Verner is a natural born American southern gentleman, and I am a Soviet
born ethnic Russian. The struggles we endured have been priceless
learning experiences, and I am proud to be an American.
